All I could ever want is only about 20 feet away from me right at this very moment. Speaking of moments, isn't life wonderful when it's just beautiful moments one after another. (That was my attempt at a deep xanga thought that I usually laugh at when others write them.) Okay back to all I could ever want . . . . . .  Dulce de Leche ice cream from Braums. It is awesome!

WORD.

Friday, August 26, 2005

My goodness these are so few and far between! Sorry about that. We started kindergarten on Tuesday this week. Our official home school name is "Word Academy" thanks to Miss Kaite (winner of an honorary doctorate) & Mrs Beth (winner of an associates degree in coming in Second Place). Our unoffical school fight song is "We will rock you" by Queen. We realized this had to be the case when we overheard Abigail singing in the back seat on our way to Branson..."Mud on your face, big disgrace." Tom's covering the music part of our home schooling.

As far as school goes, besides reading, writing, arithmatic, and Bible, we are especially enjoying a unit on animals. The girls favorite part so far has been animal charades, something fun we did to introduce the unit. Anna's likes to stuff her puppy in her shirt and be a kangaroo. Abigail slithers on the ground to be a water snake, which Micah promptly imitates. Tomorrow I'm going to ask them if they can imitate a pushmi-Pullyou. If you don't know what a pushmi-pullyu is then you are definitely missing out and need to go get the Story of Dr. DoLittle!

Anna is reading stories about Nat the Cat and Pat the Rat in her reader. The girls love their little school desks we surprised them with.

We spent 4 days in Branson last week at a condo we're able to use "free." Yeah Baby! It was a fun time with the kids, swimming and just hanging out at the condo. April was also able to buy 2 more new pair of shoes and a pair of jeans at the outlet mall. That makes for a grand total of 126 pair of shoes and 43 pair of jeans. Of course I'm kidding! I love my wife very much as she stands over my shoulder disagreeing with me as I type this.

Peace Out and WORD to your Mother!
